Adding to the list of binge-worthy suspense series, here are four more series reviews. These all bring suspense to whole new levels as you kick back on the beach and enjoy the slower pace of summer vacation.
Elite Guardians Series: Always Watching by Lynette Eason
For fans of heart-pounding action, suspense, and intriguing characters
The Elite Guardians series brings action and suspense from the start of the series to the flip of the last page. Moving Target (book three in the four book series) is one of my all-time favorite novels, but the whole series is action-packed and intense. The series focuses on the Elite Guardians, an all-women bodyguard agency. Always Watching introduces the team as Olivia Edwards finds herself protecting Wade Savage from a stalker. This series is worth a second binge-read for me. Always Watching is available for Kindle Unlimited, but it’s the only one in the series on KU.
Private Justice Series: Vanished by Irene Hannon
For fans of romantic suspense and private investigators
Irene Hannon has several amazing series, but the Private Justice series is one of my favorites. The novels center around ex-law enforcement officers who start their own PI firm. Cal Burke takes on an intriguing case when he hears Moira Harrison’s story about a disappearing man she’s trying to track down. Fans of romantic suspense won’t be disappointed, and the romance doesn’t distract from the action and suspense. Book one is available on KU.
Southern Crimes Series: Dangerous Passage by Lisa Harris
For fans of great settings, crime stories, and non-stop suspense
Another series worthy of re-reading. All three novels have intricate and overlapping plot lines, with intense action. Dangerous Passage introduces readers to Avery North as she’s in the middle of investigating a serial killer. Book Two (Fatal Exchange) had me on the edge of my seat. Definitely a page-turner! If you do one thing this summer, go to the beach. If you do two things, take this entire series with you as your designated beach-read!
Gwen Marcey Series: Cry from the Dust by Carrie Stuart Parks
For fans of forensics, mystery, history, and quirky characters
Readers can’t help root for Gwen Marcey. She’s a sassy forensic artist who’s bouncing back from all that life has thrown her way. Gwen has a knack for finding herself right in the middle of mysteries and she doesn’t back down until they are solved. This series is a a must for suspense fans. Book one is available on KU.
