Evidence of Innocence centers around Kinsley Garrett, who moved to Frenchtown to escape her past and find out who murdered her father. A murder that sent Kinsley to prison for fifteen years for a crime she didn’t commit. But someone doesn’t want her digging into the past, and local police chief Marcus Bayne intervenes when the attacks against Kinsley escalate.
This story is the definition of a great romantic suspense. It had the perfect balance of both suspense and romance. I definitely felt the danger while the mystery surrounding the murder sucked me into the story. Lots of action kept me flipping pages. The ending brought even more danger. But the romance that sparked between Marcus and Kinsley was sweet yet didn’t hijack the plot. It just seemed to be the perfect blend for this story.
I recommend suspense fans move this one up on your TBR list. It’s a definite recommendation from me.
