The Libyan Diversion

The Libyan Diversion Joel C Rosenberg
"The world's most wanted terrorist is dead. Marcus Ryker recommended the drone strike himself. The intelligence was rock-solid. But what if it was wrong? Abu Nakba-the man responsible for lethal attacks in Washington, D.C., London, and Jerusalem-is finally dead. Marcus Ryker has been tasked with hunting down and destroying what's left of the terror group Kairos. But before Ryker can mobilize his team of CIA operatives with their new assignment, a disturbing report from Libya…

The Libyan Diversion by Joel C. Rosenberg gives readers more Marcus Ryker! This is a fabulous series, one of my favorites, and I recommend starting with the Kremlin Conspiracy, because there are a lot of characters to keep track of and it helps to read in order (not required, but highly recommended.)

Marcus is on the hunt for terrorists. A radical terrorist cell is killing Americans, but it’s all smoke and mirrors. They are plotting a big attack on American soil, and it’s up to Marcus to convince the president of the danger. But Marcus is being blamed for a bombing that didn’t go right, one where innocent people were killed.

This novel is nail biting intense. Of course, it always comes down to the wire as Marcus tries to save the country. I love that this series is on par with Jack Ryan or Jack Reacher – one lone man takes on the toughest most vile terrorists to defend the innocent. I hope the series continues.
