Fatal
Strike is well
researched, and readers will get inside perspective on FBI procedures. As a fan
of Diann Mills, this book has a bit of a different feel than her others, but
still delivered the excitement and drama that fans expect. While plenty of
action, the book feels like a ride along with the two detectives. Fatal
Strike follows Leah and Jon, and readers get to put together clues right
along side of them. The pair develops a chemistry on and off the job, as both
have to face their own fears to find justice in their investigation. I enjoyed
the complex mystery and watching Leah and Jon discover how to relate to each other
as partners, but also exploring the potential of a more meaningful
relationship.
