I loved this book from start to finish! High Exposure by Kelly Borjas blends the right amount of action and suspense with epic romantic tension. With in-depth characters and a snowy, dangerous setting, this story is one not to miss.
Julia Stevens’ last on-site assignment as a blogger doesn’t start off on the right foot when she finds a man in her rental house, clinging to life. Cade Haskins is also back in Silverberg, CO, but he’s returning after being away from home with his job in the DEA. His father is sick, and he’s returned to take over the family hotel. But Cade realizes Julia is in over her head when the dead man is linked to a drug ring and he becomes her shadow while she’s in town–whether she wants his company or not.
I love this debut novel from Kelly Borjas. The story has fantastic tension. Julia want to be a journalist so she throws herself into uncovering the truth about the man in the rental house. She’s a bit relentless, but Cade knows the danger and tries to keep her from rushing head first into trouble. I also am a fan characters with heart, who grow and change throughout the story.
If you’re looking for the perfect blend of romance and suspense, check out High Exposure. I’m excited for the next book in the series!
