Dangerous Illusions is one of my favorite novels from Irene Hannon, but the sequel, Hidden Perils, just took over my #1 spot! This book could be read as a stand-alone, but I enjoy following the same characters from the author’s other stories. Hidden Perils focuses on Kristen Danes, owner of a small import shop who stumbles head first into the middle of a murder with ties to a terrorism. The suspense in this book leads the reader on a chase for justice as Luke Danes tries to keep Kristen safe. But trouble finds Kristen with every turn of the page. The over-the-top intense ending makes this my #1 must-read for suspense fans.
